We respect both your time and ours. To avoid cancellation fees, we require at least 48 hours’ notice for any changes to your appointment. This helps us offer that time to another patient who may need timely care.

We treat a range of adult mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and more. Using a functional & integrative psychiatry approach, we also consider lifestyle and overall health factors to better understand symptoms. Care is personalized and focused on effective medication management and long-term mental wellness.

Yes, we only offer telehealth visits.

Your first visit includes a full psychiatric evaluation, during which we discuss your concerns, personal history, and treatment goals. It is a supportive, judgment-free space where we begin building a care plan tailored specifically to you. Most first visits are conducted via secure video — no travel required.

Functional psychiatry goes beyond treating symptoms by exploring the root contributors to mental health such as nutrition, sleep patterns, hormonal balance, inflammation, and stress. This approach supports more personalized and comprehensive care, often incorporating specialized lab testing. While these tests can provide valuable insights, they are typically paid out of pocket, though some may be eligible for FSA reimbursement. Please check out our Functional Testing page for more information.

This depends on your needs. You and your provider will make a decision about what will work best for you. However, to remain as an active patient, we require to meet at minimum of 90 days.

We treat people 18 years and older.

SKS Psychiatry is not an emergency facility, and our office is not staffed outside regular hours. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, including suicidal thoughts, severe medication side effects, or urgent concerns, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988, the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

If you frequently need crisis support or hospitalizations for serious mental health concerns, a higher level of care may be more appropriate. We are happy to provide referrals to help you get the care you need.

Yes, your privacy is very important. Everything discussed is confidential, with a few legal exceptions (such as safety concerns), which we will review with you at the start of care.

We accept both private pay and insurance. For private pay clients, we currently offer 15% discount. Please send us a message for more information or to confirm if you are in network.

Many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement through their out-of-network insurance benefits, and we’re happy to provide a superbill if you’d like to submit a claim.
